Ahmes Court is very fortunate to have eight very active Units and one club. New Members are encouraged to visit each unit and to join one or more. This is the best way to become better acquainted with our Members and to become an active part of Ahmes Court. Each unit gives a remort of their meeting dates and times at each Court meeting. Here is some information about the Ahmes Court Units.

Clowns

This Unit helps at the Nile Shrine Family Picnic, and at other events and functions as needed. They meet at the Nile on the 1st Thursday of each month at 11am.

Damons

This Unit is purely social. They assist the Court as needed. They meet only 4 times a year on the 4th Tuesday of February, May, September, & November at 11:00am at the Nile and hold a great party once a year. Contact Gerry Mosler [email protected]

Sewing

This Club makes clothing toys, bedding, and blankets for the children at the Shriners Hospitals. They meet at 10:00am on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Grange Hall. Contact Barbara Dempsey [email protected]

Dancers

This Unit performs often for both the Court and the Nile Shrine. They meet at the Nile Shrine Center at 7:00pm on the 4th Thursday of each month, with practices as needed. Contact Cara Sung [email protected]

Nomads

This Unit assists with the Ceremonial. They meet on the 4th Thursday of each month for dinner and meeting at 5:30pm at a restaurant. Contact Shirley Fjosline [email protected]

Band

This is another performing unit. They meet on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the Nile. They practice at 6:30pm on the 1st Monday of each month, also at the Nile. NO Musical talent necessary! Contact Liz Seldon [email protected]

Drumbelles

This is our newest unit. They play steel drums and fun percussion instruments. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month; 6:30pm at the Nile. Contact Jan Etchinson [email protected]

Pageantry

This Unit performs the Story during Ceremonial. They meet at a member’s clubhouse at 11:00am on the 3rd Monday of each month for sack lunch and a meeting. Contact Tina Roberts-Martinez [email protected]
